Hello everyone and welcome to the newest installment of devlog with Sukkoy !

This week I want to talk about motivation and external distractions. No matter how much you love a project or want to accomplish a goal, there’s some moments that your motivation may leave you. This has been one of those week for me. I got some other projects that required my attention and some other stuff to deal with and it took time away from me to work on Overcomet and after not touching the game for 2 days, I just didn’t have the motivation to come back, it’s not exactly a behaviour I can explain, it just happens you know. But there’s nothing wrong with that, it happens and it’s normal, the important part is to get back up and into the fray, which is exactly what I plan on doing this week. I won’t lie, daylight saving time also hit me pretty hard (Why do we even still do that...) Switching hours messed up with my already fragile sleep schedule and it was the nail in the coffin for me.

Now that this life lesson is being us, I did manage to get some work done still. Fixed some issues that required my attention, mostly on loading saves again.

Also started to work on a gift system, so you can now, while talking to a friend open a prompt to gift them an item of your choice. For now all this those is increasing your relation stat with that particular npc (which as no use) but it will play a role in the future. With this it means I also have to think about likes and dislikes for each npcs,etc... Whole lot of fun stuff to figure out.

And added some new furniture.

Changes:

This week I won’t write what’s coming, as I think I first need to really get back to it and settle what are the priorities, but don’t worry more content and game progress is coming, I’m not giving up!
